Quiessence at The Farm at South Mountain

Dining at Quiessence is unlike any other experience in Arizona. As you walk up to the original farmhouse on the property, you see the lush and vibrant Soil & Seed Garden, where the freshest ingredients for your evening’s dishes have been sourced. Chef Dustin Christofolo determines each element planted in the garden to perfect his refined, rustic menus that change with each harvest.

The flavors of the Arizona terroir shine through each dish with the unique layering of flavors and exceptional uses of the local ingredients. With the delicious vegetables, herbs and edible flowers from our on-site garden, over 60 fruit trees, eggs from our chicken coop, fresh breads from our Le Panyol oven, and meats and cheeses from other local farmers and purveyors, guests experience the freshest ingredients possible when dining at Quiessence. It’s a truly authentic farm-to-table experience.

Along with the Quiessence hospitable nature of service, we offer an a la carte menu, chef’s seasonal tasting menu, and our signature Brick Oven experience during the week. On weekends, diners can choose from our 4-course, 5-course, or 6-course Chef’s Seasonal Tasting Menus. The menus change with each week’s harvest and include daily Handmade Pastas, Heirloom Tomato Terrines, Foie Gras Torchon, Hamachi Crudo, and our Signature Focaccia. The American and Arizonan wine lists are accompanied by an international reserve list designed to pair with the balance of the cuisine.

Once called “the epicenter of creative Arizona cuisine” by Food & Wine Magazine, as well as named “Best New Restaurant” by nearly every major publication in the Phoenix area upon its debut in 2009, FnB has continued to receive acclaim both locally and beyond for its richly flavored, globally accented seasonal menus, continually showcasing the best of Arizona’s abundant farming and agricultural community. As chef and co-owner of the award-winning FnB restaurant in Scottsdale, Charleen Badman is one of Arizona’s most celebrated chefs. A James Beard winner for Best Chef of the Southwest 2019, Charleen is known as the “veggie whisperer” for her ability to coax the very best flavor out of locally grown vegetables, which are featured prominently – although not exclusively – on the FnB menu. Beckett’s Table

Chef Justin Beckett has opened a dozen upscale restaurants around the Valley, but at his namesake Beckett’s Table, he brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here. The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes seasonal American cooking in dishes such as shrimp, sausage & super creamy local girts, BT signature fork tender short ribs and pan seared sea scallops . Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett’s Table mandate: Come Together.

Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill

Mariposa – Latin Inspired Grill is designed for the ultimate customer experience. The views from the patios and dining rooms could be the finest world wide. If that wasn’t enough – customers will enjoy browsing the restaurant and the grounds enjoying large scale art or star gazing in the dark Sedona night.

The cuisine is Latin Inspired, primarily from Chef Dahl’s interactions with chef’s in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Chef Lisa Dahl and her team focus on premium ingredients and many of the herbs are grown in the herb gardens in the restaurant courtyard. All meats and seafoods come from the very best sources – such as Allen Brothers and Beelers for the meats. For years Lisa has insisted on all organic vegetables from Arizona.

The restaurant is equipped with QSC speakers and particular attention has been paid to acoustics in the dining rooms and the bar. There isn’t a bad seat in the restaurant.
